Known as Jamaican pepper or Pimento berries, this spice is indigenous to Central America and the West Indies. An ingredient of mixed spice, it is widely used in Central and South American cooking. Can also be used in soups, savoury dishes and cakes. May contain traces of celery seed or mustard seeds
