Essential are proud to support Bristol Local Food Fund

As winter sets in again, the cost of living crisis and food insecurity continue to impact thousands of people across Bristol. Community food projects are working hard to help people as much as possible but without adequate resources and support, these community food projects may struggle to meet the increasing demand.

That’s why Bristol Local Food Fund is aiming to raise at least £150,000 in 2024, to support community food projects and help build a city of food justice.

For this reason, we are proud to announce that every donation to Bristol Local Food Fund will be matched pound-for-pound, up to £5,000, by Essential. By providing financial assistance to community food projects, the Bristol Local Food Fund aims to address the issue of food insecurity and make nutritious and locally grown food more accessible everybody in Bristol.
