Essential Trading Co-operative COVID-19 Statement - UPDATED 03/03/2021
Demand for our service continues to be high, and to ensure the health and safety of our workers, our customers, suppliers and the wider community, we continue to follow guidance issued by public health professionals.
New Business
We are pleased to say that we are now accepting new applications and our registration form is open.
Buying Groups
Normal service has resumed; please place your order 2 working days in advance to take advantage of our Priority service and we aim to deliver your order on your next delivery day. If we experience a very large volume of buying group orders, or if our lorries reach their weight limit early, there may be a 1 to 2 week delay on fulfilling your orders. We will inform you of any delays as soon as possible.
Please note that we are not currently able to accommodate one-off or temporary changes to your delivery address. Please also note that under current circumstances we are unable to accept returns of goods ordered in error so please ensure your order is correct at the time of submission.
Placing an order
Please place your order as early as you can, ideally 2-3 working days before your delivery day, in order to take advantage of our Priority Service. Please place your order via our website if this is possible for you. If we do need to make a change to your delivery date or method of transport we will contact you to seek an alternative solution.

Deliveries
Limiting contact when we deliver your order still remains imperative: if your order is not fork-lifted off, our drivers will leave your delivery at the door of your premises, they will knock and ask for a name, but will not require a signature and we ask that you observe the social distancing guidance. We may refuse delivery if these protocols are not observed.
Orders for Collection
Our collection service remains closed for now and we will be reviewing this in the coming months.
Our two retails shops Harvest Bristol and Harvest Bath stock a wide range of our products and are also offering a local delivery service, you can find more information on their websites.
Covid-19 Risk Assessment

Please note that due to the nature of working under the pandemic there may be times when we cannot meet our usual offers of service, if this happens we will endeavour to contact you in advance so that alternative arrangements can be made as necessary.
